Welcome to TIPEC Bristol, South West and South Wales Region. If you haven’t been before, please come along to one of our monthly meetings or sign up to an event; you will be welcomed and encouraged whether you are coming alone, with your partner or with a friend. Porsches are what we have in common as a starting point, but friendships and shared experiences are what keeps the club flourishing. So, our plan is for our members to enjoy the “3 Ps”, Porsche, People and Places
We organise additional events throughout the year. These will typically include weekends away, drives, car shows and museum trips. Breakfast meets are usually very popular. Obviously as a member organisation you will need to join to take part in any organised event, but you’re welcome to attend our monthly meetings to learn more about us before making your decision. More information regarding membership can be found here.
Remember everyone is welcome, we meet on the first Tuesday of the month from around 6.30pm-9.30pm at The Plough, Nr Pilning, Bristol. Look forward to seeing you.
MONTHLY MEETINGS
First Tuesday of each month at The Plough Pilning
From M5 J17 follow the road through Easter Compton towards Severn Beach. Just after Easter Compton there is a fork in road signposted to Tockington, take this road, go under the railway bridge and The Plough is on the right.
ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS
We have some exciting activities and events planned for 2024, including breakfast meets, regular drive days, weekends away and visits to venues of interest.
We also produce a monthly newsletter which reviews recent activities and provides news and updates.
Supporting the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity
The TIPEC Bristol, South West and South Wales region has for several years supported the Great Western Air Ambulance (GWAAC) as our chosen charity, raising more than £8,500 in donations to help fund the crucial services they provide.
These services include not only a rapid-response helicopter, but also 3 critical care vehicles that carry the same equipment and are used in many emergency situations where the nature of the reported incident doesn’t require an aerial response or it is quicker to go by road.
In 2023, more than two-thirds of callouts were responded to by car but, whether by helicopter or by road vehicle, the team is on its way within four minutes of the dispatch call being received.
Our regional 2024 Fundraising Target is £2,000
If you would like to help us reach this target and support GWAAC by making a donation, please click here for details. Thank you.
