Yorkshire Dales Drive – Breakfast, Drive, Pub Grub and a little bit of shopping!

Meeting from 9am, at Hamish’s Cafe near Blacko Summit for breakfast.

We will leave Hamish’s at 10.15 prompt and travel via Nappa, Gargrave, Skipton and Grassington to Toft Gate Barn at Pately Bridge.

Arriving at Toft Gate Barn around 11.15, we will have a comfort stop for up to 45 mins with refreshments and cakes available from the cafe.

We will leave Toft House Barn by 12 noon latest and travel via Masham, Leyburn and Richmond to Mainsgill Farm Shop on the A66.

Arriving at Mainsgill Farm Shop around 13.30, we will have a comfort stop for up to 45 mins, with the opportunity to browse the large shop and grab a take-out coffee (cafe also available if not too busy).

Mainsgill Farm offer a wide range of butchery, home and gifts and countrywear.

We will leave Mainsgill by 14.15 latest and travel via Brough, Kirkby Stephen and Sedbergh to The Punch Bowl pub, at Barrows Green, near Kendal.

Arriving at The Punch Bowl from 15.30 onwards, we plan to have a pub meal around 16.00 onwards.

As with all TIPEC South Lakes & Cumbria drives, you can pick and choose what you want to do…..all or part of the drive, with or without food, or just the food.

Approximate drive times and distances are:

Leg 1 – 1hr – 35 miles.

Leg 2 – 1hr 25 mins – 47 miles.

Leg 3 – 1 hr 15 mins – 53 miles.

Places on this drive are limited and if over-subscribed priority will be given to South Lakes and Cumbria members.

A pre-order will be required for the breakfast and meal.  Menu’s will be e-mailed out by Sat 25^th Feb and pre-orders required by Tue 28^th Feb.
